If you want to learn how to make money on eBay you're going to need to learn some eBay selling tips to get and stay ahead.
Decide What You're Going To Sell
You need to first decide what you'd like to sell on eBay. I normally go over to eBay pulse to find out what's the most search! ed for item in each category. This is marketing intel gold and it just ensures that I'm not going to start selling something that's not in demand.
Drill Down Into Each Category
Don't just view the first results that come up, you drill a lot deeper into each category since we're looking for a hungry niche market. A market where they already know exactly what they're going to buy before they even get to eBay. I always use the example of the Hasselblad camera. I found this little gem just by drilling further into the Camera and Photo category. This is a true niche market and average sales are ranging in the $1500 - $3000 mark. Not bad eh?
Use The Swipe And List Method
This is the method of staying up lat! e at nig ht or into the early hours of the morning and then bidding on items. There's 2 good reasons why I do this:
1. At this time of the morning there's very little competition to compete with which increases your chance of getting a real bargain.
2. Many inexperienced sellers on eBay don't realize that there are strategic times to end your auction. 2am in the morning definitely isn't one of them. Now you're probably wincing of the thought of staying up this late to use this technique. To be honest with you, that's the reason why it works so well. The fact that there aren't that many people bidding at this time gives you a clear advantage
Simply Re-list and End The Auction At The Right Time
Once you've purchased your items, re-list it once you receive delivery and make sure you end your auction at the right time. 9 times out of 10 I'll end my auction on a Sunday around 7-8pm where the bidding is most frantic. That's just one simple eBay selling tip I've shown you where people are making an absolute killing. There are plenty more sneaky little tactics up my sleeve.
